Our Research Pillar (Growing)

While large-scale research requires major funding, we are leveraging existing expertise to lay the groundwork.

Current Status

Because we have not yet secured dedicated research grants, our NGO has not conducted independent primary research yet. However, we are building our foundation using two approaches:

1. Leveraging Board Expertise

Several members of our Board of Directors are medical professionals and academics who have conducted their own research into cancer patterns. We are in the process of integrating their findings into our awareness materials to ensure our messages are culturally and scientifically accurate.

2. Future Goals (Pending Funding)

Once funding allows, we plan to focus our research in these key areas:

1. Local Data & Burden of Disease (The "How Many" and "Where")
2. Adapting Care to Reality (The "How")
3. Community Barriers & Behaviors (The "Why")

We also plan to offer micro-grants to local health students for cancer research.

Note: We are currently seeking research partners and donors to activate this pillar fully.
